The Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is a 2-year program designed for candidates aspiring to become teachers in primary and elementary schools. The Uttar Pradesh Basic Training Certificate, previously called UP BTC, is now recognized as UP D.El.Ed.

The applicants who applied for admission to D.El.Ed will be glad to know that the admissions office has eliminated the examination for diploma courses. The selection committee will create the BTC merit list based on the students’ marks in the 10th, 12th, and graduation.

UP DElEd 2024 Important Dates

UP Pariksha Niyamak Pradhikari Allahabad will handle the administration of the UP BTC 2024 admission, counseling, and online registration. However, in the UP D.EL.ED counseling, qualified applicants will receive seats based on their rank in the merit competition. The UP D.EL.ED program is designed as a two-year professional course. Those accepted into the program can instruct pupils in grades 1 through 8.

The Uttar Pradesh Exam Regulatory Authority facilitates the BTC counseling process for D.El.Ed. admission. The applicants who meet the requirements for admission must select their preferred college. UP DElEd Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must pass the 10th and 12th grades and graduate from a recognized university or institution. Candidates who complete one or two-year undergraduate diplomas cannot appear for this course. Applicants must complete graduation in any field, such as BA, B.Sc, BCA, BBA, B.Com, or B.Tech, covering Arts, Commerce, and Science. The BTC qualification requires candidates to be at least 18 years old..

The Deled eligibility and category-specific maximum age limit for D.El.Ed are listed below.

• For the General category, the maximum age limit is 35 years, which applies to male and female candidates.
• For OBC or SC/ST, the minimum age limit is 18 years, and the maximum age limit is 40 years.
• For the PWD candidates, the maximum age limit is 50 years, which applies to male and female candidates.

UP D.El.Ed (BTC) 2024 Counselling

UP BTC Counselling 2024 is organized by the Uttar Pradesh education board. The merit list for the counseling will be produced based on the marks obtained by the candidate in the marksheet of 10th, 12th, and graduation.

D.El.Ed 2024 Counselling Registration

The candidates can follow the procedure given below to initiate the counseling registration process:

• The candidates have to go to the Board’s official website updeled.gov.in and click on the counselling option.
• Select the counselling option and then click on the generate OTP tab. Candidates need to provide registration numbers and date of birth. The OTP will be sent to the registered phone number.
• The candidates will have to fill in the choices, and for this, they have to fill in the course name, registration number, received OTP, and captcha in this step. This step will lead to the password tab to enter a new password.
• After this process, the students will be able to lock their choices.
• There will be options to select the available choice, submit the choice, delete the choice, interchange the choice, and lock the choice.
• The candidate should fill the colleges according to the decreasing order of his/ her preferences.
• Click on the submit option to confirm the choice preferences.

Documents Required for Deled Counselling 2024

Colleges and universities are allowed by the Examination Regulatory Authority. Before entering round 1 counselling, candidates must print out the seat allotment letter issued by the authority. The candidates will get BTC admission into their respective colleges if they can produce the letter at the time of admission.

UP D.El.Ed (BTC) 2024 Seat Allotment

After the merit list is prepared, the colleges are allocated to the candidates. The allotment letter is generated for each candidate. The allotment letter can be downloaded by the candidate from the Board’s official website by paying a fee of INR 2000/- via the online platform.

UP D.El.Ed Seat Allotment Checking Procedure

• The candidate has to go to the official website to see the allotment status.
• The candidate should select the particular course and fill in the registration number/ roll number and birth date.
• By clicking on the button “Get Result.”
• The candidate can view the UP D.El.Ed results.

UP DElEd 2024 Scholarship

The candidates who belong to the family with low income can avail BTC scholarship to pursue their studies. Both the male and female candidates can avail themselves of the scholarships. The colleges that are under the UP D.El.Ed authority are both private as well as government.

The tuition fee for the government colleges varies between INR 10,000 to 15,000 per annum. Whereas for the private colleges, the tuition fees can go up to INR 40,000 to INR 50,000 per annum. So, when the student is sponsored by the BTC scholarship, then he/ she does not need to pay any fee mentioned above for the course.
